Tiercon earns the premier Toyota Motor Sales award for Supplier Excellence, the Toyota Excellence Award for 2014. On October 29, 2014, Toyota presented Tiercon with the Toyota Excellence Award at its annual Toyota Parts & Accessories supplier conference in California.
This particular award is not presented every year. In fact, Tiercon was the only North American (Supplier) Company to earn this award in 2014. This award has many factors that are considered but certainly it is heavily driven by the Toyota Customer Scorecard. Tiercon received another perfect score for the entire year which played a big part in winning this years Award.
The Toyota Customer Scorecard is an evaluation of a supplier’s:
- Quality
- Shipments and Delivery
- Price
- Design and Engineering
- Responsiveness
Tiercon was able to improve from its past Gold and Platinum Awards in 2011 and 2013 respectively. This year was an outstanding year for Tiercon as they continued to grow with Toyota in the exterior painted/plastic/stamped metal component parts while maintaining its performance standards to a the highest of awards, the Toyota Excellence Award.
