Tiercon earns one of the highest Toyota awards for Supplier Excellence, the Platinum Award for 2013. On October 9, 2013, Toyota presented Tiercon with the Platinum Award at its annual Toyota Parts & Accessories supplier conference in Los Angeles, California.
In 2013, only two companies in North America performed well enough to receive this highly prestigious award. This award has many factors that are considered but certainly it is heavily driven by the Toyota Customer Scorecard. Tiercon received a perfect score for the entire year which played a big part in winning this Platinum Award.
The Toyota Customer Scorecard is an evaluation of a supplier’s:
- Quality
- Shipments and Delivery
- Price
- Design and Engineering
- Responsiveness
Tiercon was able to improve from its past Gold Awards. 2013 was a fantastic year for Tiercon as they continued to grow with Toyota in the exterior painted/plastic component parts while maintaining its performance standards to a platinum level.
