At Tiercon, innovation is at the core of what we do. Our 596 Arvin Ave. facility in Stoney Creek, Ontario, houses our Innovation Centre, where we conduct research and use state-of-the-art equipment to develop and innovate materials and processes to support our customers’ needs and enhance our offerings.
Innovation Centre Staff
Our Innovation Centre is staffed with highly trained and experienced engineers, designers and materials specialists, as well as students and recent graduates from local technical colleges and universities.
The innovation team works closely with our customers and other Tiercon departments to develop ideas, confirm feasibility, and ensure the smooth launch of products for a range of customer needs. In addition to working on solving challenges for our customers, our Innovation Centre staff are encouraged to take time each week to proactively brainstorm and test new ideas and innovations that help our customers and our company succeed.
Innovation Centre Capabilities
Our Innovation Centre is equipped with a state-of-the-art lab, testing facilities, and advanced machinery that enables us to carry out a range of testing and technical activities, as well as create cutting-edge video simulations. Our expertise in product design, finite element analysis, Moldflow, testing and validation equips us to create unique, custom solutions for any customer challenge or need.
Innovation Centre Achievements
At Tiercon, we are proud of our team’s work in developing advanced processes and materials. We have received six patents for our innovations, and we continuously look for new ways to provide further opportunities to create more efficient, highly functional, environmentally sustainable solutions for the automotive industry.
